David Lyons

David's racing career began at the stables of Martin Pipe as a pupil assistant trainer in 1984, from where he moved on to be a jockeys' agent for six jockeys between 1987-92, handling, amongst others, Richard Guest and Billy Newnes in the process. In 1985 David landed his first journalist position with the Racing & Football Outlook and over the course of the next 17 years David wrote for; The Sporting Life and SL Weekender, The Racing Post and The Western Morning News. The benefit of this grounding in the game was clearly seen with David's tipping service www.dailydabble.com, which made a year on year profit for four of its five years of trading between 2001-2006.

David has experienced racing from every angle and this unique expertise puts Blue Sky Racing Club® at a considerable advantage. He isn't simply endorsing the Club, he is living and breathing it and wants to use his knowledge and connections to benefit its members and make Blue Sky Racing Club® a success.

"Having known and worked with David Lyons for some years, I am totally behind his venture Blue Sky Racing Club®. Those who have dealt with him before will leap at the chance to be part of this involvement. You will enjoy your racing with David Lyons and if his past record is a guide, it will be a profitable ride too." Richard Pitman 28th May 2005
